Safety and Security Director

Frank Productions is looking for a full-time Safety and Security Director to join our team in Madison, WI. The ideal candidate will have experience leading teams and safety strategy. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead the Safety and Security department operations and staff for assigned market

  • Develop and implement procedures to improve operations and safety of assigned venues

  • Develop and implement strategies to ensure safe and efficient ingress and egress, and enhance the overall guest experience

  • Supervise part-time security staff and full-time security managers, including coordination of scheduling and training

  • Facilitate the effective monitoring of assigned venue premises via video surveillance, security system, and related equipment

  • Collaborate and work closely with the Venue Operations team in all assigned venues to ensure seamless communication

  • Provide guidance and direction in the handling of any safety and security complaints or concerns

  • Liaise with appropriate investigative and public safety agencies on matters related to operations, planning, and prevention

  • Manage the budget and expenditure of venue resources according to company policies and procedures

  • Keep up to date with the latest trends, standards, and risks related to the safety and operations of the industry

  • Understand and maintain all safety and security equipment

  • Ensure the organization’s mission, values, commitments, goals and culture are upheld and practiced

  • All other duties as assigned



KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Applicable experience in security, safety, and management

  • Ability to direct a team with leadership qualities that exemplify respect, integrity, teamwork and quality

  • Willingness to work unconventional hours as job duties demand

  • Ability to trouble-shoot; solve problems independently and proactively

  • Ability to handle difficult situations in a professional manner

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office

  • Pleasant and friendly disposition

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to adapt quickly to changes and provide quality deliverables

  • Exceptionally strong verbal and written communication skills

 

This position is expected to work forty (40) hours per week or more. This position is an at-will position, meaning that either party may terminate the employment relationship at any time without notice or cause.

Box Office Manager

Frank Productions is looking for a full-time Box Office Manager to join our team in Charleston, SC. The ideal candidate will have Ticketmaster and supervisor experience. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage daily operations of the Box Office efficiently and effectively

  • Manage the part-time box office staff, including scheduling and training as necessary

  • Create, modify, and maintain inventory for all ticketed events at assigned venue

  • Manage the reconciliation of each assigned show, including settlement reports

  • Perform the daily reconciliation reports for all ticket sales

  • Manage the release of venue holds

  • Build all assigned venue events in Ticketmaster

  • Work with Ticketmaster to continue developing customer support and systems

  • Sell tickets at the box office window and print tickets for other departments as necessary

  • Provide positive direction and clear communication with ticketing staff, venue guests, venue staff, promoters and other company employees

  • Provide customer service by answering phone calls from customers and venue users, assist in solving their problems

  • All other duties as assigned



KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • 2+ years of box office experience; supervisory experience preferred

  • Willingness to work additional and/or unconventional hours in order to satisfy job responsibilities and the event calendar

  • Knowledge of Ticketmaster, or similar software, and Microsoft Office

  • Experience with cash management procedures

  • Demonstrated customer service skills working with a diverse set of customers

  • Ability to make decisions with confidence and work in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Professional and friendly demeanor

  • Demonstrated ability for strong verbal and written communication

  • Ability to adapt and be flexible

 

This position is expected to work forty (40) hours per week or more. This position is an at-will position, meaning that either party may terminate the employment relationship at any time without notice or cause. The initial salary will be commensurate with the selected candidate’s experience.
